Remote monitoring
for sites nobody
is standing on.
MulticomIoT puts instruments on plant that is hours from the office, carries the readings back over RF mesh, cellular or fixed line, and holds them through an outage. Every figure arrives with the time it was taken.
More Data. More Value.
Topology
One backhaul,
not one per sensor.
Battery or solar powered instruments report to a gateway over RF mesh. Each one can reach the gateway through its neighbours, so a lost link re-routes instead of taking the reading with it. Where there is no line at all, the gateway holds the readings and forwards them when the link returns — with the times they were actually taken.

What we monitor
Five published areas, 49 parameters.

Air, water and effluent, recorded continuously rather than when someone remembers to take a reading.

What is fitted is decided at survey. This is the range we specify from, not a list of what every site gets.

Generators, street lighting, distribution assets and metering points, reporting state and consumption from wherever they are installed.

Water, power and climate on land nobody is standing on — tank levels, pump state, gate and store status.

Wells, mains and reservoirs reporting between visits, so consumption is a continuous record rather than a monthly reading.

The box between the site and everything else. It polls instruments, buffers locally, and forwards when the link returns.

The chain
From an instrument to a decision.
Five links, and the value is in all five holding. A reading that is taken but not carried, or carried but not kept through an outage, is not a reading you can act on.
Data collection
Sensors and our hardware on your plant, measuring the parameters agreed at survey and timestamping every one on arrival.
Reporting
RF mesh, cellular or fixed line, chosen by what the site has rather than what is convenient to install. One backhaul, not one per sensor.
Buffering
When the link drops the gateway keeps recording. Readings are forwarded when it returns, with the times they were actually taken.
Monitoring
Flow, volume, pressure, level, run hours and electrical parameters, with the history behind every figure.
Alarms and control
Notification on the conditions you set. Where a site is built for it, outputs to switch a pump or move a valve.
Hardware
Specified and supported by us, not drop-shipped.
Gateways, repeaters and meter clusters, chosen against the enclosure, the power available and the temperature the box will actually see.

The view
The history behind every figure.
A reading on its own is a number. A reading with the ones before it is a record you can act on — a step in consumption, a pump drawing more than it did last month, a link that has been dropping since Tuesday.
- Timestamped on arrival
- Buffered through an outage
- Alarms on your conditions
- Outputs where the site allows

Process
Four steps, in this order, every time.
The survey is free and produces a written scope, so what is quoted is what was seen.
Survey
Free, and produces a written scope
An engineer walks the site. What is already there, what power exists, what the radio path looks like, where a cabinet can go.
Specify
Against the site, not a catalogue
Instruments chosen against the measurement, the enclosure, the power available and the temperature the box will actually see.
Commission
Proven on site
Installed, wired, addressed and proven where it will live. Nothing is signed off on the strength of a bench test.
Operate
Inside the contract
Calibration intervals, battery replacement and link checks are in the contract, not in a follow-up quotation.
MORE INFORMATION.
BETTER DECISIONS.

Situations
Not case studies. Failures we specify against.
We do not publish client names, sites or sectors.
Agriculture · Water
A pump runs dry overnight
Nobody knows until someone is standing there in the morning. A level sensor and a run-state input turn that into a reading with a time on it.
Energy
A generator does not change over
The site is dark and the first anyone hears is a phone call. Changeover state is one digital input.
Water
A tank drains between visits
Consumption looks normal on a monthly reading and abnormal on a continuous one. The step is visible the day it happens.
RTUs & Gateways
A remote site cannot be reached
Where there is no line, the gateway holds readings and forwards them when the link returns, with their original times intact.
